Coloring Natural Hair Without the Commitment

Vivirant Red

Try a new color with naturally curly clip-ins!

With the exception of getting your hair dyed darker, most dye jobs require your hair to be bleached or lightened to achieve a honey blonde or vibrant red. Bleaching your hair uses a high PH system to open the cuticle of your strands, making the hair more porous and prone to damage.

Coloring your natural hair clip-ins or wigs is a great way to experiment with color without the damage to your own natural tresses, whether you want a fully colored look or a ombre result.

What You Need:

Texture Crush Hair Extensions

  1. Bleach or Lightener with 30 Volume Developer

  2. Foil

  3. Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

  4. Color Bowl and/or Coloring Brush

Step 1: Mix the hair color or lightening mixture as instructed and apply to the hair extensionswith care to make sure that all hair is fu

lly covered and saturated. We suggested laying the hair on a flat surface and applying to the top first, flipping the hair and applying to the under side. Cover with foil for quick processing if desired. Process up to 30 minutes.

Step 2: Rinse the extensions thoroughly and shampoo the hair until all color and lightener is removed. Apply conditioner and soften the hair for up to 20 minutes and rinse.

Step 3: Apply a light weight leave-in conditioner and style.
